Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Jabalpur – Transfer to Bandhavgarh
Take an early morning flight or overnight train from Delhi to Jabalpur, the nearest major city to Bandhavgarh. On arrival, meet our representative and begin your scenic road journey to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 4–5 hours). The route passes through beautiful forested hills and rural villages of Madhya Pradesh.
Check in to your jungle lodge or wildlife resort and relax. In the evening, enjoy a nature walk around the property or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.
Day 2: Morning & Evening Jungle Safari in Bandhavgarh
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich wilderness of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Start with an early morning jungle safari in an open gypsy, led by an expert naturalist. Bandhavgarh has one of the highest densities of Royal Bengal Tigers in India, along with leopards, sloth bears, wild boars, and many species of deer. Bird watchers will enjoy spotting hornbills, eagles, peacocks, and kingfishers. Return to the resort for breakfast and rest. After lunch, set out for the afternoon safari in a different zone of the park. Enjoy the changing light, forest sounds, and perhaps another glimpse of the majestic tiger.

Day 3: Optional Safari or Local Exploration
After breakfast, you may opt for a third jungle safari (optional, at additional cost) or choose to relax at the resort. Alternatively, explore nearby attractions such as:
- Bandhavgarh Fort – An ancient hilltop fortress with panoramic views and legends linked to Lord Ram.
- Shesh Shaiya – A 10th-century stone sculpture of Lord Vishnu reclining on a seven-headed serpent.
- Local village walk – Experience rural life and tribal culture of Madhya Pradesh.

Bandhavgarh National Park, located in the Vindhya Hills of Madhya Pradesh, was once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Rewa and is now a world-famous tiger reserve. Declared a national park in 1968 and later a part of Project Tiger in 1993, Bandhavgarh is celebrated for its high tiger population and dense Sal forests. The park is also rich in history, home to the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort, believed to be over 2,000 years old and linked to legends from the Ramayana, where Lord Ram is said to have gifted it to his brother Lakshman. During the tour, you’ll enjoy exciting jungle safaris, local cultural experiences, and a stay in a scenic jungle lodge.
