Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Leh – Rest and Acclimatize
You will arrive at Leh Airport, where our team will pick you up and take you to your hotel. Leh is at a high altitude, so this day is for rest to help your body adjust. In the evening, you can take a short walk to visit Shanti Stupa and the local market. Night stay in Leh.
Day 2: Visit Sham Valley – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, take a short trip to Sham Valley. You will see the Hall of Fame (Army Museum), Magnetic Hill, and the point where two rivers meet—Indus and Zanskar. Also, visit the peaceful Alchi Monastery, then return to Leh by evening. Night stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
Today, drive to Nubra Valley through Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest roads. In Nubra, visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes in Hunder. Nubra has a mix of desert and mountains. Night stay in Nubra.
Day 4: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
After breakfast, head to Pangong Lake by driving along the Shyok River. Pangong Lake is very famous for its changing blue colors and peaceful surroundings. You’ll stay overnight in a camp near the lake.
Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass
Wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise at Pangong. After breakfast, return to Leh through Chang La Pass. On the way, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Reach Leh in the evening. Night stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh to Tso Moriri Lake (Via Chumathang)
After breakfast, leave for Tso Moriri Lake, which is calm, less crowded, and surrounded by mountains. On the way, see hot water springs at Chumathang. Spend the night near the lake in a camp or guesthouse.
Day 7: Tso Moriri to Leh via Tso Kar and Hemis Monastery
Today, you’ll return to Leh. On the way, stop at Tso Kar Lake, known for birds and salt deposits, and visit Hemis Monastery, the biggest monastery in Ladakh. Reach Leh by evening. Night stay in Leh.
Day 8: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out and we’ll drop you at Leh Airport. Your wonderful journey in the mountains ends with sweet memories.
